About

In the days, weeks, and months to come, we will experience something that we haven’t witnessed in over 100 years with the COVID-19 pandemic. Every minute of every day will be an opportunity to learn, but also an opportunity to react and respond in ways that can ultimately save lives. This blog will track day-by-day considerations from a small city perspective, and share information that may be useful to other local health officials and response teams as we experience and combat this pandemic, together.

My name is Michael Rosanoff and I am an epidemiologist on the COVID-19 Task Force in Bayonne, New Jersey. I hold a Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Epidemiology. I have been a practicing public health professional for over twelve years.
